By selecting “I Agree” in the installer or by installing or using Scarej Console, you agree to this End-User Licence Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.

1. Licence grant

SCAREJ LTD grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use Scarej Console on devices that you own or control, solely for internal business or evaluation purposes and in connection with authorised Scarej services.

2. Permitted use

You may use the software to connect to, configure and manage authorised camera gateways and related Scarej services. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to access the devices, locations, networks and data that you configure or view.

3. Restrictions

You must not use the software unlawfully; access cameras, systems or locations without authorisation; copy, sell, lease, sublicense or redistribute it except as authorised; reverse engineer or attempt to obtain its source code except where applicable law permits; interfere with its security; or remove proprietary notices.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your credentials, device permissions, network security and use of the software. You must comply with applicable data-protection, surveillance, employment, recording and other laws. Scarej Console is not a substitute for human judgement, emergency services or an appropriate security response.

5. Privacy and data

Scarej Console may process account identifiers, camera and venue configuration, local-network discovery results, diagnostic information and software settings. See our Privacy Notice for details.

6. Third-party software

Applicable notices and licence terms for third-party software are provided in our Third-Party Notices.

7. Updates and support

SCAREJ LTD may provide updates, security fixes and maintenance releases. Unless separately agreed in writing, support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis through ming@scarej.ai, without a guaranteed response time or service level.

8. Availability and warranty disclaimer

The software is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SCAREJ LTD disclaims warranties not expressly stated here, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or that the software will detect or prevent every security or safety event.

Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SCAREJ LTD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data. SCAREJ LTD’s total liability arising from this agreement will not exceed the fees you paid to SCAREJ LTD for the software or related service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where law requires otherwise.

10. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you materially breach it. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the software and deleting copies in your possession. On termination, you must stop using the software.

11. General

This agreement is the entire agreement concerning Scarej Console. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. No failure to enforce a provision is a waiver. You may not assign this agreement without prior written consent; SCAREJ LTD may assign it as part of a business transfer.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

This agreement and any dispute arising from it are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights under applicable law.
